De vrije loop ('the free course') is an improv duo making a free, unbound kind of music. Key-words are flow and intuition. Silence forms an integral part of the music. As well as humor. Resulting in a music as unpredictable as the Dutch weather. Fragile and subtle silences alternate with raw outbursts.

Hilarious, slap-stick scenes are followed by enchanting soundscapes. Urban and rural areas, dusty roads, abysses and wide vistas: the musical traveller gets it all.
